Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
Short version: Rosterforge collects no personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no advertising, and no cookies. The only data gathered is anonymous, aggregate visitor counts through our host's privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics, nothing that can identify you. The site itself runs entirely in your browser.
What we collect
No personal information. We don't ask for your name, email, or any other detail, there are no accounts, and there is no database behind this site. The only data gathered is anonymous, aggregate usage statistics through our host's privacy-friendly analytics (described below), which cannot identify you.
Analytics
To get a rough sense of how many people use the site, our host (Netlify) provides server-side web analytics. It is measured from standard server request logs, not from anything running in your browser: it uses no cookies and no client-side tracking scripts, stores nothing on your device, and does not follow you across other websites. It reports only aggregate figures such as total pageviews, approximate unique visitors (counted by IP address on the server, not retained by us as identifiable data), top pages, referring sites, and general country-level location. No personal information is collected or sold, and we never learn who you individually are. Netlify states this analytics is GDPR and CCPA compliant.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. The only thing stored is a single preference in your browser's local storage that remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. That value never leaves your device and can be cleared any time through your browser settings.
The rosters you build
Any roster you create lives only in your browser tab while it's open. It is not saved, uploaded, or transmitted. If you export an image, that image is generated locally in your browser and downloaded straight to your device.
Third-party content
Fonts and the image-export library are hosted on this site directly, so they don't involve any third party. The one exception is player photos and team logos, which load through an image proxy (wsrv.nl). When your browser requests those images, that provider can see standard request information such as your IP address and browser type, the same as when you visit any website that loads an external image. It does not set cookies, we don't control it, and we receive none of that information ourselves.
Children's privacy
Because we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
